Extreme Makeover

Phase one is under way!!

That's right, we've started our extreme backyard makeover. We have a new sandbox for the kids to play in. Made by Daddy! He's becoming such a handy man. It's 10x10...feet that is. GINORMOUS!! We also have a new swing set. Also quite humungous. Monkey bars, swings, glider for two, clubhouse, playhouse, and picnic table. We also intend to replace the small rotted deck with a new patio for lounging while the little ones play. Pool and fire pit to come a few years down the road.

While we've been working hard on our outside projects, the inside of the house has accumulated germs. Yes, sick kiddos again. Three wheezers, another ear infection, and the terrible threes! The quads are all on antibiotics again, and Drew is just busy. Some days I wonder if I'm gonna make it. Like today for example, Maddox broke his nose during therapy, Emma ate poop, Parker was beating Jack up, and Drew lost his listening ears somewhere and have yet to be found. Tomorrow has got to be better. :)

I sure am ready for spring. I think it will cure a lot of this stress due to cabin fever. I'm really excited to let the kids run in the backyard and open the windows. Our first summer in this house I'm hoping will be spectacular with many more to follow. We love it here!! Hoping to catch up in person with some of my girlfriends who are SAHM's...you girls know who you are!!

Sleep tight everyone!

Up and About!

One of my good friends informed me I haven't blogged in a while..Thanks Kara!! I finally have stopped for a minute to update.

The quads are busy! They are all crawling, pulling up, cruising, and Emma is starting to take steps without help. They are starting to talk quite a bit. Their favorite words seem to be "ALL DONE". Although, when someone is upset it becomes "mama".

Drew is a handful, but totally cute. He's spelling his own name, can tell you how old he is, can sometimes tell you his birthday and almost potty trained. He loves the babies. Jack and Drew sometimes wrestle. They seem to think its hilarious...it just makes me nervous. Drew registers for preschool on Monday. He's going to have a blast! He loves making friends.

Brian and I are doing well. He had a cold a few weeks ago, along with the kiddos. I don't know how I escaped that round of germs. Glad I did though. Cabin fever I can tell is setting in. We are both ready to get out of the house and go play in the park or go biking with the kids. Hoping to go riding through Hummel Park. It's the best!!
